Asking because frequency of intercourse between me and my wife went down from 3-4 times per week to at most 2 times a month since she got serious about distance running (she runs about 60 mpw).

So far experts in the medical field that do hormone studies have found that wedding cake is the largest contributor to decreased sex drive in women.
My long time spouse, and any other woman I was with before and after that relationship always were ready to have sex at least as much as I was, so I think this sex drive is a mutual feeling between women and men.
Plus you can't really judge the satisfaction & happiness you feel with a person just from the number of times you have sex, in fact there is probably no direct relationship.

No. It actually increases it if wife is running well. If she's injured or unhappy with her performances it will decrease.
