Maybe my intentions to "diet" were written poorly but I don't think the article linked above is that useful. I don't train hard enough nor diet hard enough to have many negative impacts on my energy level. At this point, losing 4 pounds would increase my speed more than if I were to eat the same and just get in hard workouts.
I don't really plan to limit my calories anyway, or at least not in any impactful way.
Smoove, you conveniently forgot to mention that 15k race...seems pretty relevant to me! Nice work man. You finished within a few seconds of my teammate and he's trying for sub-2:30 at Boston as well.
