La Nostra squadra succhia. I nostri migliori medici lavorano in Kenya. Ciao!
The current generation of Italians would rather not participate than dope themselves to the gills in order to compete, which is why their coaches and managers have moved onto other countries.

That's what I said, ciao!
Didn't Meucci run a pretty good race in the marathon?
Benny,
you are looking for red, white, green kit which is the colours of the Italian flag. But no, they wear blue kit.
(and the Aussies wear yellow and green while their flag is red, white, blue)

Australia does a lot of weird things
* Gyros are called kebabs
* Kebabs are called meat on a stick
* Trashy 1980s cars called utes
* Burger King is called Hungry Jack's
Italy, lowest birthrate in Europe, less than one child. The new generation of Italian kids are soft. When Italy was a less wealthy country, back in 70's and 80's, they had tons of world class athletes, esp. in md and ld. Guys like Antibo, from Sicily, were basically 'white Africans'

No way, Italians now are clean since doping is CRIMINAL offence there due to various DOCTORS of the past, if that is the case in US then there will be no Americans as well - take a look on the list of yours doped black sprinters for example.
Ciao
Meucci sixth in the marathon.
There was possibly a female race Walker medalist today. Not certain though.
True but you have to wonder if Italian officials were like "WTF were we doing?" "Now we suck!"
After various cycling episodes, they tried to be the leaders in anti doping.
This is their reward.

He had the same time as Gideon Kipketer, but was originally listed as 5th. Now listed as 6th. Either way, still way better than almost all American marathoners.

I think the Italians soon in a couple of years will have new good runners. But probably most at road and the marathon . I know there is a "project" with former great Italian marathon runners in the leading positions.

Last time I was there I thought here are the people who keep tobacco companies in business.
2014 data had Italy ranked 34th for cigarettes consumed per capita and a lot countries above them don't have track athletes for squat either.
37 athletes and one relay
