People in London don't seem to like Gatlin too much...
A lot of people don't like him due to doping obviously, but the British public just don't know how widespread of a problem doping is in athletics. Everyone in that 100m final is doped to the eyeballs, 60% of runners in 10k yesterday is doped. Soon there'll be huge busts 10x more than the lance episode.

Hilarious, the crowd obviously knew nothing about t&f.

Agreed.

No way. Not in London, with Coe and Reedie being in charge of IAAF and WADA.

they certainly love Mohammed Farah even with all the negativity surrounding the Nike Oregon Project.
Hypocrites!
I am over the moon for Gatlin. Great job.
Coleman is the future.
Jamaica is dead. US is rejuvenated.

WHAT, the crowd don't even know what T&F stands for.I'm also British, sometimes British people are a embarrassment, cases like these make me wish i was born in Mozambique.

Probably something in this. Most tickets ever sold for a World Champs. 700k over the Championships. London has the population and enough wealth to sell the stadium out every day. The big crowds are great, but athletics doesn't have this many fans. You're making up the numbers here with a decent chunk of people who have fond memories of 2012 and want to cheer for Bolt and Mo. A fair number in the crowd won't know much about a lot of the medalists but they will know Gatlin is the pantomime baddie.
You truly are a snowflake if you're British but worry more about booing a doper in track than drunken rioting at a soccer game.

Its even more stranger than this, i actually believe the crowd was briefed to boo gatlin, as look at this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z86xysw5Nccgo to 5:40.
To me it seems like British crowd don't know who gatlin even is, but also look at this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2O7K-8G2nwU3:00 still no booing , and then now they start booing after 5 years doesn't add up.
I won't be surprised if seb coe had something to do with this , the guy is a dirty politician. The booing is a complete surprise to me maybe they copied the Brazilian fans in rio who booed a lot of people intensely.
Cheat. Deserves to be booed. Shouldn't even be competing. IAAF and Coe need to sort out the sport. Hypocrisy to have a blanket Russia ban yet allow cheats like Gatlin to run.

No you've got it the wrong way round the sport needs to sort out Coe and IAAF.

To be fair, Gatlin served his suspension. I guess he could just have disappeared from the sport, but he chose to take the punishment and come back... on PURE HATE.
Pure hate... of history majors!

Oh hey brother - didn't see your boy De Grasse out there getting cheered....
Anyway - the ill-advised, star-f$$king, ignorant London public can go ram it. Gatlin is a bad boy yadda yadda yadda - yeah we get it. If only you really knew what your boy Usain has been up to all of these years (just probably not this one).
They better not boo him on the dias. For real.
It is important that they did not booooing Ayana since she is example of CLEAN athlete.
Fuc*ing brits.
If someone were truly against doping, they would boo every race, or better yet, not be there at all. Gatlin isn't the problem: the IAAF is. They and other governing bodies have been enabling and covering up dopers for years. Every now and then they'll pop a sacrificial lamb to make it look like they are doing something, but they've offered protection much more often (LA, Barcelona). Banning Russia was convenient for the IAAF... tough stance against an unpoplular nation with no racial diversity. Not that Russia didn't deserve it, but come on!
