There is something very easy to see : who speaks about doping, didn't see Ayana running ? Do you think the morphology, the running technique, the mental ability to run alone (and for that reason she is one athlete who can in the future attack the Marathon WR) are something common with other athletes ?
I don't want to lack of respect with other athletes, but when you see somebody running as the Young Tirunesh Dibaba, or Viavian Cheruiyot, or Faith Kipyegon, or now Almaz Ayana, also an idiot understand these athletes are born for running, and are by far better than the other.
The most part of them are African, but the top talent can be everywhere, the only difference is that in the Western world there is no more interest in doing fatigue, looking at this type of events.
On the opposite side, I see a lot of talent in Kenyans for other events only : I personally saw in Mosoriot a Young student (not older than 18) jumping 2.05 meters in high jump, barefoot, with the old technique called Johnson, because they don't have matresses for Landing, and what happens after overtake the bar is more important of what happens before !
Of sure, an athlete so talented could jump 2.35 or higher with only one year of training with a good coach and good facilities.
So, the talent is everywhere, and we must be able to recognize it, when we meet.
