When Jonathan Gault asked her, if given Ethiopia's track record of less than stringent anti-doping in terms of out of competition testing, if she was suspicious of the results, she replied. "I mean yeah, I feel like they get away with a lot to be honest. Everyone talks about Russia and Kenya and they've kind of cracked down on them so maybe they'll be the next country to get stricter regulations and testing. Unfortunatley, nowadays, you always have to question the world record but who really knows. "

Molly Huddle on the Ethiopians: "I feel like they get away with a lot"

Wow, an American runner with an opinion!
-
Or, was she referring to Emily Infeld?
-
I'm going to end up with a terrible reputation on this site for questioning the validity of performances but does anyone else think that Ayana's performance is very odd? Doesn't race all year in a country with poor doping control then rocks up and makes a mockery of a quality field. I felt embarrassed watching that race. Perhaps I'm too much of a skeptic...

Lmao! -
Hey Molly, everyone has the right to question YOUR performances just as you question others. Remember, everyone you compete against (and lose to) goes thru drug testing. You are as likely to cheat as any Ethiopian. You get away with as much as they do.
-
Does Huddle not realize she beat an Ethiopian today?
-
I hope Ayana question Huddle why she lost to Infeld today.
-
Agreed. Why doesn't she just work harder and run faster?
-
Remember that no one from Ethiopia is subject to in-country testing as far as we know and certainly not prior to this year. They weren't even testing at their national championships when ARD came to call. Molly Huddle is subject to rigorous testing at any moment, not just at championships.

Poor Molly.. she could have only been thrashed by half a minute if Ayana wasn't running. Here's an idea.. GET FASTER.
Sick of these American women bitching about why they are always getting trounced. -

They're not bitching. They're just asking that their competitors are drug tested the same way as themselves. -
If this was the case, then why would they be allowed to compete?
Quit your bellying aching. -

Honestly, what does it even matter? Women with levels of testosterone in their blood equal to or greater than those using testosterone are allowed to compete in the 800. Doesn't matter anymore. -

lol, oh, you sweet summer child -
Weak Huddle. Stop complaining. don't speculate
-
What IAAF tests did she have .
Let iaaf clear the air .
And make it clear if blood was taken and actually got to the lab in time to be tested .
Not too much to ask . -
Yeah...ignorance is strength.
-
Ayana is the most obvious doper in track and field at the moment.
-
She's on the sauce Komen once had.
