You forgot to include Fox in your list. Fair to say the others are biased but Fox is just as biased and they should have to give political affiliation as well, right?
I like the challenge of going to any news source you think is lying right this moment and post a story they are running and how they are lying.

CNN, WSJ, Washington Post or NY Times are the gold standard. CNN, the Post and Times have a somewhat liberal bias.
Thanks. I literally laughed out loud when I read that!
I'm amazed that anyone still thinks any of these companies are the gold standard and/or aren't hopelessly biased in favor of liberals. It's so obvious.

This. Trump HATES America. He hates our freedoms and way of life. He is a traitor.
Google is the most unreliable of them all.
Trump just said so.
"Reliable" is in the eyes of the responder to the poll. What I find even more disturbing than the bias in the reporting (ie how they report on a story), is in the bias of what they report as the "News" (ie what they decide the news story is). You have FOX reporting on stories x, y and z with their bias on those stories, and on the same day virtually everyone else is reporting on stories a, b, and c with their bias. What is the real story on the real news? I have no idea.
This is what qualifies as "news" on Fox News. MSNBC and CNN did not report on this story...for obvious reasons.
I see stories like this every day. I get BBC, WSJ, CNN, Fox, and several other headlines on my phone's news app, and some of the stories that show up on Fox are ridiculous. Whenever I see a story like the one I linked, I search to see if any other reputable news sources are reporting it. Nope. Always just Fox.
These panels have nothing to do with news and all the "news" channels have their own biases. All this intrigue and speculation around who said what in Washington is not news either.
I think of news as having reporters on the ground to cover an event as it is happening. If there is a terrorist attack in Mumbai the BBC and CNN will be there first.
They are the Left Wing equivalent of Fox News.
This isn't hard. AP News, then decide for yourself what's going on.
EVERY cable or online 'news' source not called the Associated Press has a bias. There are other reputable news reporting services, of course, but in the USA, the AP is the standard.
If you believe that those nightly talking head shows on CNN, Fox, MSNBC, whatever, are actually 'news,' you are proving one of those George Carlin points. (Most are dumber than the dumbest person you know.)

You do know that sites like Fox, CNN, etc. use your viewing history to display some news stories that may interest you. Don't blame the news site. It's your internet history.

Funny, but I don't see these People magazine, goofy stories on MSNBC or CNN. I do see them on FoxNews. Same history, but only see the junk on Fox.
They are appealing to a dumber, older audience.
Period. Full Stop..
Any news source who has a very clear agenda to always present a certain person or group in a positive light and another in a negative light has deviated from their original purpose.
Everything you view from these news groups is always going to be twisted and perverted by an agenda. Depending what "side" you fall on either you can do no wrong or you can do no right.
That's the way bitterness/hatred works... No matter how amazing you are or what you do right you will always be viewed in a negative light.
I do not understand why people watch and listen to this crap. Its all twisted bull crap motivated by greed coming out of both parties.
At the end of the day politics is not the solution of all our past leaders if you take on a pure and honest perspective you will find things they did right and things they did wrong.
Same with any human being. Some do more right some more wrong. Regardless we are all flesh and blood with a different set of vulnerabilities and weaknesses depending on our genetic/personality makeup, culture and what we have learned/know.
In all seriousness this us Vs them box needs to be destroyed. There is only an US. Uni = one. Verse = song.

You are talking to scared conservatives. Naturally they will dismiss anything as not reliable when it doesn't conform to their trembling biases.
CNN and MSNBC are accurately reporting the news and the how everything unfolded. But this is the vital aspect: They are doing so with a historical backdrop, and how this administration and this current wave of conservatism compares to our nation's historical standards, and standards that will eventually be restored. That's why they have pundits like Carl Bernstein and David Gergen and John Dean.
Fox News and petrified conservatives prefer to believe that their new standards of fear, hatred, racism and misogyny will become the ongoing norm. We are going back to plantation days so blacks can be told to stand on demand and rich white males control everything, with ability to get rid of anyone who doesn't think like them or look like them. So no kidding the braindead types like that will shake and cry whenever CNN or MSNBC are describing a different American reality.
Again, it's amazing what 46% can do. Trump took the electoral college with 46% of the vote and somehow the genius conservatives took that as a signal that the country approves of them and will accept every command.
Tonight I'll get a pizza and laugh at conservatives with every bite.
