I have a 1500m race in about 2 weeks
What should I be doing for the next two weeks in terms of workouts,mileage and long run?
Usually I do 2-3 workouts,12 mile long run and 60-70 miles a week

Not much you can do in two weeks. If this is what you are peaking for, I would cut back mileage a bit. Then do a couple tune-up workouts to keep the wheels sharp. Each person has their preference. I like a 200m, 200m, 400m workout.
But I also really don't do the 1500m.
Cut of the long run!.......do a repeat session 7-8 x 400m at 1500m race pace this week (recovery= wait until 100 beats/min)......next week just an easy interval 6-8 x 400m at about 5 sec slower per 400s then normal pace 3-4 days before the race 1500m. Good luck!

4x200-Avg 29 (2:30 rest)
