He has until July 23rd, if he does not have it by the 20th, he can run the Monaco Diamond League meet on July 21st on the Ultra fast Monaco track, and yes as the USA National Champion he can get into the Monaco meeting although his best 1500 so far will look really slow compared to everyone in that race, I think sub 3:33 is likely.
Engels said in a post-race interview that he thinks he is in 3:34 shape. He ran 3:37 earlier this year so that's not unreasonable. It's going to be fun to watch those guys over the next month. I see where the NYC race is going to be on ESPN.

No Engels broke his collarbone indoors and barely raced. Never raced the mile indoors. Jenkins won Millrose in 353.23.
