He won't make it far on a bike either. Eva use he will have done FA training for that too. And it's very hilly around there extremely hard work if you aren't fit, which he isn't. He isn't even going to make it half way.

Well, he could have installed an electric motor into his bicycle.....

Good point. He is exactly the sort of person who would do that.
I reckon he's dead and they're heading up to Dartmoor to bury the body.
If I was him I would blame it on Obama. Dave needs to learn how to lie from the master.
He needs to phone the charity who apparently think that its the spirit of these things rather than actually doing them, actually strike out "spirit" and replace with "gist".
Anyhow the charity should be able to arrange a private jet from Exeter to Inverness then a limo to a hotel in the John O'Groats area followed by a triumphant photoshoot of the last 100 yards a week Saturday.
Remember, this is all for charity, this is more important than anything else and anyhow we now live in a world of alternative facts, some people might point to evidence that he didn't do it legitimately but alternative facts say that he did.
The Lands End to Tavistock run is almost complete. We decided to change the LEJOG route and do one that is significantly more difficult. We are well ahead of world record pace. Run Dave run!!!!!
Looks like they've already given up for the day and have stopped for over an hour now in Tavistock.

Supposedly they are at a medical center getting his feet worked on. Now we will hear doctor said I was close to losing my feet and he has never seen anything as bad as this.
They have headed further east at this point than north. They should just modify the challenge to fastest circumnavigation of the globe on foot, bike and mattress.

Weren't those the exact words about Rob Young's feet?

It is really predictable what he is going to do next. I thought he would quit on day 3. I guess I was being way too generous.
heads up to the OP for calling this clown out. We all know what he would have done without our scrutiny, a repeat of what happened last year at London.
Fancy quitting after just over a day. Pathetic. All those phantom 120 mile weeks didn't prepare you for something like this did they Davey boy.
Dave actually claims to have done some 230 mile weeks on Facebook.

As someone commented on Page 28 "judging by the way she writes, poorly educated and thick."

Yes, that is her. So it was definitely Terrie on here yesterday calling everyone wankers, as the writing style was so similar to that on Dave's Facebook page, that she writes.
She often says "he's" instead of "his" and "wife's" instead on "wives".
Too busy breeding 17 kids to have had an education by the look of it.

Actually 280. He claims he did a 10 program at 26 miles a day followed by a 10 day program of 40 miles a day. He then took a 5 day rest period still consusting of 70 miles.
It would be interesting what was actually done.
Let's see, so he thinks you can do a LEJOG with 11 miles missing and it still counts. You can't you haven't gone from LE to JOG.
He thinks you can use any non-motorised transport. That's actually true for it to be LEJOG, but not what he was sponsored to do.
My question would be, which bike is he using. A quick scroll down the Facebook timeline and you can see the bikes being picked up, one for his son one for the camera man. Zoom in on the camera mans bike, that looks suspiciously like a battery and motor, it's almost like that Gazelle bike is an electric bike, because it looks just like the electric bikes with identical motor and battery packs on their website.
Now that isn't covered, and do we trust Dave that he is using his kid's bike? I don't, and I don't see why anyone else should.

Who cares? He's not running. That's the point.

Also interesting to know how the feet managed that if a day and a half of walking has "shredded" them.

Oh NO, he's still doing a RUN.
We're not tracking him. It's a run, not a bike. Run.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
