You are right, he is a convert who thinks he is white and wants to make America great again. Dude that guy is weird

Some of us speak English as a fifth language and still found it offensive, I will send KOT (Kenyans on twitter) the link and see what they think about Sam's comments. they are many!
# someonetellsamchalengahe'snotamzungu
Those are his friends, and they know exactly what Samuel Chelanga was talking about, the guy has nothing good to say about Africa
Seems to me that he's saying it's tough to race in Africa because of the incredible pool of talent you face. More like he's slamming the US for its relatively weaker races...
Sam is like a the version of dave chappelle " the black white supremacist". Poor little soul.
He's been deservedly torn to shreds by Bernard Lagat, Stanley Kebenei, Stephen Sambu, Diane Nkuri and a couple of Kenyan journalists. Diane seems especially offended as she tweeted that she knows the guy, meaning that comment isn't out of character. I bet the Kenyan-Americans are ashamed of him but he doesn't seem smart enough to realise he's been ridiculed on all sides.
Exactly, those guys knows that guys better than anyone here and he meant exactly what he said
Chelanga is just doing what the president does. Tweeting whatever comes to his mind. Much ado about nothing.
By the way he is a Trump supporter

For shame, really. Also, something telling about his tweets is that he's now taken to referring to Africa as one country. 😂 I'd call him an ignoramus but he knows what exactly what he's doing. So pathetic.
I don't care who said what in a twitter tweet. Get yourselves off that shit.
Now if he posted a thread to that effect here, that might be interesting.

How do you know?
If true, I will support Sam even more!
Ridiculous how all these Africans who have sold their country for $$$ are backstabbing Sam.
Sam has proven where his heart is, and that is not in his land of birth. This is long before this tweet and others have seen this for years.
I like Sam but I will never discuss politics with him. I was shocked that he accepted a position on this team. He was not very complimentary before he even left the U.S.

So what? If you come to the US, get US citizenship and represent the US, is it really that weird that his heart is here?
The problem is not Sam but people like Bernard -positive EPO test- Lagat, running for the US because of $$$, but still being Kenyan in heart.
Why focus on just Lagat? What about Diane or Stanley? They both have bashed Sam for his lack of understanding of the struggles of Africa.

Same goes for these two traitors.
If they really care about the "struggles of Africa", why aren't they running for their African country?
All those who criticized him are themselves outside of Africa.
