No I didn't miss the point. Rupp isn't an immigrant and if he were black he still wouldn't be an immigrant. Just another witch hunt by oversensitive people who need to find racism everywhere.
If you can't see or don't want to see how the coverage on this website is different when talking about white runners and African runners then that is on you. I get what you're saying but I cringe every time I read an article about the Kenyan born Chelimo. It's the little things like this that make up systemic racial biases. The Brojos feel the need to highlight where Chelimo was born but do not do that for any white runners. They then put it out there (albeit softly) that he is taking the spots of other true (white) American runners. I'm not looking for racism. We live in a country controlled by white folks. The biases come through in many different ways.
