Yes. If you're mature people, yes it is. If you feel an attraction, be aware of it and put your girlfriend first. If you don't feel an attraction, even better.

So I just read the subject line. My answer: no.
I disagree - the answer is yes, but only if you are over 30 and your girlfriend thinks she is hotter than your friends who are girls.

Have you ever even met a girl?
Girls are children. I stipulated adults, who are generally referred to as women.
In any situation, a "friend" of the opposite sex should take you and your girlfriend as a package deal. In other words, she should be willing to hang out with both of you, and should make overtures to tailor her invitation to both of you. If she does not, hanging out is bad news.
If you are in a relationship period, you should always avoid being in a compromising position with another female outside of a professional setting. In other words, try not to be alone with the female friend in her car, house, etc. It is too easy to be accused of something or create suspicion that way. Even at work, avoid being behind closed doors with a member of the opposite sex. All it takes is one a**hole seeing this and starting rumors to ruin both your career and relationship.
Planet fitness...0/10

+1
only if you are gay.
Anyway, only if she's ugly.
first world problem, millennials these days
No, in general it's not possible. But you can have female professional "friends" or you can have female "friends" with whom you share a hobby or some other interest. You should always keep your wife/gf broadly oriented about whatever you do with these female acquaintances.

Why do women over 30 and even 50-95 call it girls night out?

Women think they are hotter but know they aren't. You know what I mean?

It's like men think they are smarter but know they aren't. You know what I mean?
It is not possible to be friends with girls. Period. Full stop.

She might even be trying to set you up with her friend.
I recommend passing her up on the food and then inviting her to the next thing you and your GF host at your place. And if you don't ever host things at your place then maybe it's time to do so.
Yep, a threesome. How's your staying power.
Ask yourself if you would be comfortable if your GF had a male friend she met at Planet Fitness? There is your answer.
I'm only responding to your subject line. I was going to read your war and peace explanation but would rather poke my eyes out.
Of course you can be friends with a girl. However, if you are under 35 years of age and unmarried it becomes more complicated. Especially if you like (love) her.
This is life my friend. Remember: All is fair in love and war.
Good luck! Be happy.
It's called a side chick bro. Of course you can be 'friends' with another attractive girl. Pfft. Idiot
I didn't read your post or any of the posts from people who didn't read your post, but if you have planet fitness in common, you are probably going to be friends for life.
what do you think of planet fitness? I might join since it's so cheap but the gym didn't have any olympic weights or barbells (just dumbbells).
