Is there going to be a separate Trump post-presidency thread?
There will be a lot of legal discussions about him after January 20.
Impeachment, criminal and civil cases.

Either your bad at ciphering or bad at history.

You forgot acquittal.
From my anecdotal experience (yeah, I know), it is not problems with distribution issues, storage, or having enough vaccine available. The problem is having enough dedicated people to get shots in arms.
We've had a few large scale temporary clinics in the area set up and all appointments were taken quickly for the next two weeks. I thought that was great until a friend who ran one of the clinics told me the number they were scheduling per day. I can't remember the exact number, but it was ~100. They just don't have enough people dedicated to adminstering shots.
A friend of mine is a regional manager for a national pharmacy. They have the capacity to give out 10 shots/day in each location since the pharmacists have their normal work load as well.
It's been a month since Georgia received the vaccine and only 30-40% of nursing home residents have been vaccinated.
There's no mass vaccinations going on. It's just piecemeal.

I can only hope all the trump patriots unite to form a single army and go out there to fight the treasonous National Guard. No civilians, just the armies from both sides.
I guess I should add a disclaimer here, but really let’s see how they fare against the National Guard in trial by combat.
Why would you even want that?
Do you want to see bloodshed?
You are a weird dude.

Yes, I would like to see the terrorists eliminated. Sally, you are such a slow learner that other posters are really confident this isn't you. Just because you are engaging others with some substance now it doesn't mean I can't spot you easily. Enjoy cycling through all your handles, and of course happy Groundhog Day!

Oh but you didn't mind when your hero guzzled some aborted fetus fluid to recover from COVID
of COURSE the riots made Trump even more popular among the grass roots crazies.
NYT article today on how Trump is revered as a god in local right wing politics. Nothing will stop that. If they worry about the violence, they'll just make up something about antifa and boom conscience quieted. When truth doesn't matter, politics is easy.
"As Mr. Trump prepares to exit the White House and face a second impeachment trial in the Senate, his ideas continue to exert a gravitational pull in Republican circles across the country. The falsehoods, white nationalism and baseless conspiracy theories he peddled for four years have become ingrained at the grass-roots level of the party, embraced by activists, local leaders and elected officials even as a handful of Republicans in Congress break with the president in the final hour.
Interviews with more than 40 Republican state and local leaders conducted after the siege at the Capitol show that a vocal wing of the party maintains an almost-religious devotion to the president, and that these supporters don’t hold him responsible for the mob violence last week. The opposition to him emerging among some Republicans has only bolstered their support of him

I propose "The Official end of the GOP Thread"

You are certainly sick and a fvcking idiot.
Yeah this is what most Dems don't get. The extremism and craziness is very deep rooted and expanded to a lot more people. There is a market to cater to these folks now. Will trump rush to fill that void with the Patriot party or will the likes of Cruz and other insurrectionists try to steal the crazies? One thing is for sure, someone will be appeasing those people instead of throwing cold water on them. If 20-30% of the GOP gets siphoned off to another party that will change the political landscape permanently. It won't be like the soft Tea Party.
imagine being so scared of your fellow citizens that you embrace DJT as a quasi-religious personality cult.
The minds of these people are so addled.
On the other hand, Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini...not the brightest bulbs either. Appeal to fear and history and tell people they are endangered and you can lead them. bad humans! Bad!

Trollminator - the poster the other day said I have an IQ of 80 and Marietta had an IQ of 110 or 120. I am stuck at the 80 level. I can't post some posts at the 80 level and then at the 120 level. I am stuck down here at 80. Just like the short bus riders can some days ride the short bus then the next day ride the long bus. It ain't happening.

Well, that's part of the impeachment, but yes, we can discuss the second acquittal that is likely to happen.
We will talk about how the GOP acquitted Trump the first time and said Trump learned his lesson about abuse of power.
Then with this acquittal we will talk about how the party did not hold Trump accountable for any of his actions.
That could lead to Trump running again and really destroying the Republicans chance at any future power.

I don't find the "short bus" references I often see on LR to be funny at all. Many of these children have conditions where they will need to be cared for their entire lives and the parents need to worry about what will happen to their children after they die. It's heartbreaking for parents to be in that situation and all of us with healthy children should be grateful it didn't happen to us.

Bingo.
But, as some of them will tell you, they hold to a *higher* truth: the way they *want* things to be, rather than the way things are in reality.

My apologies for that. Everything you said is true.

Is there an informed list of the criminal charges that Trump is predicted to face, and the courts he may be charged in? I'm seriously asking. My guess is that he won't be charged with anything, but I haven't read up on all this stuff, because most of it looks like media and message board hype and wishful thinking.
