Mitch says no trial until Biden is in office
So Trump will finish his term unless he resigns for some pardon deal.
And no doubt mitch will use the trial to stop the Biden admin in its tracks.
Mitch will not be the Senate leader after Jan 20th. He cannot single-handedly stonewall Biden's agenda.
The true reason Moscow Mitch declined to recall the Senate from his imposed vacation (they have been on vacation most days since before the election ... do nothings) is because they fear for their lives. Being a Trumper politician has ugly consequence.

Why should we believe this fool? House Dems are notorious for being liars. Nancy Pelosi said the 2016 election was hijacked. How many House Dems lied saying that Trump et al. conspired with the Dems? App of them?
At least they are treasonous and didn't aid a terrorist attack.
*aren't*

We definitely both agree they are treasonous. Nice post.
Republicans.
Idiots.
All 'F you' when they are winning, all 'kumbaya' when they are losing.

Really wanna see some polling numbers on some things -
How many people still think the election was stolen, and how many think the mob was justified?
From Quinnipiac poll:
2. Do you believe there was widespread voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election, or not?
Total: 37% Yes, 58% No
Republican: 73% Yes, 21% No
8. Do you think that - the individuals who stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6th were undermining democracy or protecting democracy?
Total: 80% Undermining, 10% Protecting
Republican: 70% Undermining, 17% Protecting
https://poll.qu.edu/national/release-detail?ReleaseID=3686
From the Quinnipiac poll above.
4. Which comes closer to your point of view: democracy in the United States is alive and well or democracy in the United States is under threat?
Rep: Alive and Well - 20%, Under Threat 77%.
Dem: Alive and Well - 22%, Under Threat 76%.
So Rs think it is under threat because the election was stolen, and Ds think it is under threat because Trump is trying to overturn the legitimate election. Can there be any middle ground?

Do you have anything to say about this particular person, or are you just going to generalize about people other than him?
He's a former Army Ranger who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Slow down before calling him a fool.
Do you have some reason to think he's lying, other than he's a Democrat and you don't like Nancy Pelosi?

I didn't know he served in the military and was an Army Ranger. Retract my statement about him - I salute his service - but I don't think Nadler, Schiff. Pelosi or Jackson Lee were special Ops. THEY are fools and liars.

WTF? So you are saying you now believe him that his republican colleagues are afraid to vote for impeachment because they fear for their lives? What does this have to do with Nadler or Pelosi? What an odd post. You have really lost it dude.

This sort of raises an interesting point. Most people will do and believe what they're told by "the people in charge." I think this goes for Republicans and Democrats, and certainly it's been proven in general multiple times through controlled experiments.
So are Republican voters buying this lie about election fraud simply because Trump and the GOP says so? That might be encouraging - all we need to turn things around is sane leadership in the GOP. It's a real shame because there's a lot of good conservative points we could, and should debate in Congress. Instead, the past few decades have been unnecessary fights over things like gay marriage and abortion.

yep!
polling like this is just a 'which team are you on' test...not a legit answer to the question.
You could ask a question like
"Trump believes we must raise taxes to pay for a wall to stop Albanians from coming across our Eastern border' and 75% of Rs would agree.
It's just team sports, not a response to the question. So yeah, if R leadership changes, so will Rs.
Rs used to believe in immigration and free trade, for example. Until trump.
So, Trump is not planning on attending Biden's inauguration.
Now Ivanka is not planning on being there after previously stating that she would attend.
I have probably posted a lot of crazy sh!t on this thread. But this is my official CRAZY post. Do the Trumps know something that the rest of us don't about what is planned by the M/\GAs on Jan 20? Something that makes it a good idea to not be in the area on inauguration day?
OK, I've officially gotten too crazy. Time to take a break from this sh!t.

Trump was never going to attend. You think the importance of the tradition set by George MF Washington matters to him?
None of it means anything to him. It's truly amazing how a man who cares so little for this nation managed to get its most important office - a total anti-patriot, a traitor.
