A major disappointment with this thread is that it lacks much of a plausibly coherent conservative perspective.
Very true. But that's not limited to this thread.
A lack of "plausibly coherent conservative perspective" has been missing from the entire national dialogue for the last four years.
CORRECT! The reasonable Republicans fought against Trump the last 4 years. Members of The Lincoln Project, Republicans Voters Against Trump, ex-military leaders, and a list of individuals too long to mention. Those who stuck with Trump are either JUST stupid or racist, and they have no moral character.
Democrats haven't done as well as they should have the last 15 years or so considering the plight of the working man (working class and lower class). THAT is the ONLY beef Trumpers legitimately have with Democrats, but STILL not enough to justify voting for Trump.
Trumpers need to come 90-95% of the way to meet Democrats if there is to be any kind of lessening of the divisiveness, and that 90-95% of the way includes them understanding that they voted for an amoral, serial lying, despot wannabe, criminal. Sometimes in a disagreement, one party is wholly in the right. This is one of those times...and Democrats are the ones who are right.
