It really depends on how good your speed is, but I'd guess you're in at least 1:57 shape right now with a chance to run much faster later on.
Your reply doesn't even say what time you did them in :)
10x300 at 800 pace on 90s rest would be ridiculously hard. It's more like a mile pace workout! Most people can DEFINITELY race faster than they would average for that workout.
OP should be WAY under 2:00.
No a standard mile session is 10 x 400m off 60 so this is shorter and with more recovery
Of course it depends on the age of the runner
If you think 10 x 300m is similar to 10 X 400m you are way off as times rapidly drop off from 200 to 400m and the biggest drop off is from 300-400.
For example I could not have done 10 x 400m off 60 in 65 whereas I did 8 x 300m in 45 with less than 90 secs recovery. Of course we were in our early twenties so you would not expect a 15 year old to do the same but 18-22 is doable.
I once went to a different club and hit the front on the first one in 45. On the second I soon realised that was just a warm up as they all shot past me. The lead guys were running around 37 seconds. I was so shocked I dropped out (they were doing 8 with a 100m straight walk/start recovery.
People on here have no idea what times class runners hit in workouts. None of the runners in the group were big names.
Any runner out of their teens who can break 2 can run this session in under 45. All this training relaxed stuff on here is nonsense
