I would feel too dirty just repeating it, and it's so ridiculous that I halfway expect that the case runners who told us about it were bullshitting us. But if you ever come across a recent case xc alum, ask them about the beast.

Are you going to be a student or are you going to be an athlete? If student athlete look at the top 40 nationally ranked schools and check out which have D1 teams that have made NCAAs in the last 5 years. That's your list. If you want to be a scholar and have athletic friends, you are spot on with CM.

Yeah. Don't be surprised when a rumor goes around campus that you hide crack in your crack.

Also, CMU alum here as well. I have absolutely no idea what all of the shower references are..referencing, although I was on the sprint side of things. Someone want to clue me in too?

Yeah, nothing weird about showering together, my college team did so after every practice and sometimes we all met at night as well just to shower together

There was a big RunningTimes survey in the 90s during the first big sex assault/hazing incidents at colleges. They asked about group showering at colleges.

90% of NCAA D1 XC qualifiers routinely had group open showers post-practice.

I'm not going to say where I went but I very nearly went to CMU. I'm currently at a school that provided in-state tuition and an overall better program for my major. CMU is an amazing school, but due to a variety of (mainly financial) factors it wasn't the best option for me.
