The former record was set by Mustafa Abdur-Rahim during the NCAA Indoor Champs in 2004, where Mustafa finished 3rd. Jamerson's performance ranks him 13th in the country. I think he'll be the first Ivy to make it to NCAA Indoors since Mustafa in 2004.
Duane Hynes went for Princeton in 2008.
Thanks for that info. I see he also qualified in 2007 for Indoor Nationals as well. We don't have lists showing NCAA qualifiers, only top 8 finishers.
But got 10 going to NCAAs this year:
- Gabrielle Thomas, 200m
- Rudy Winkler, WT
- Adam Kelly, WT
- Allison Harris, PV
- Zoe Hughes, pentathlon
- Austin Jamerson, heptathlon
- Frances Schmiede, mile
- Judy Pendergast, 5k
- Nikki Okwelogu, shot put
- Ned Willig (Brown-Michigan), mile
