Well, this is what it takes. This is the 500kg WR deadlift set earlier this year:

WHY do you want to do this?
That 10% more weight. That like the difference between a 30 min 10k and a 27 min one. OP only wants to do a mere 1000lbs.

buy a calf. Every day deadlift it. You won't notice it growing and by the time it's full grown you'll be deadlifting a full ton.
Do you have to kill it to deadlift it?
0/10
You would have to be pretty retarding to not understand that the guys who are deadlifting anywhere near 1000lbs were able to deadlift over 200lbs in grade school before having done a single day of training.

A mere 1000 pounds. Just like the raw bench WR is a mere 730, by a Russian probably overloaded on roids. You mean, if all you want to do is 10% slower than a 3:26 1500, just about anybody can do it?
You have to select you parents very well. If you don't do that, the rest doesn't matter that much.

Do they have separate categories for assisted vs unassisted? I'm making those terms up because it seems that the wraps without a doubt provide assistance/relief for the hands & wrists.
Yes.
There are raw and equipped classes. Also raw and equipped means different things to different federations.
Equipped typically means a powerlifting suit.
