So anyway, what the F is Matt Withrow doing now? Is he a doctor? Lawyer? Mechanic? Porn actor? Politician? Waterboy? Janitor? POTUS? What the F is he doing?
I just checked LinkedIn. He works at adidas.

Do you know that he was over training? What was his mpw in HS?
Do you usually miss the obvious? Why would a mileage number tell you that he was overtraining when a chronic injury cycle doesn't?
There are runners that are more prone to injuries regardless of training levels and it's the same for any weight-bearing sport.
Cal Ripken played in about 2,600 consecutive games, but during the last few years, Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton have been on the field for about half of the Yankees games.
Rupp was not hindered by injuries for years before his Achilles injury, while Solinsky's career was effectively over by age 27.
The ability to train effectively without incurring injuries, can become just as important as having outstanding natural ability.

He ran a sh*t ton of miles in high school. Didn't have the ceiling that someone like Rupp did but got everything out of his talent. No shame in that. Illinois running legend.
This isn't true at all. He was a low mileage, incredible talent.
No definitive answer after all these years. Where is Matt Withrow??
