Looking to run at Northern Colorado. Currently a junior in high school (girl), wondering if they're a good team/"family". Just really looking for that family feel while still going someplace I know will help me improve. Thanks!

Best way to find out is to go for an overnight if you can, try to see how to team interacts at and away from practice. It's hard to get an accurate idea of team culture online, since it's a lot of the little things that really make or break it.
I can't tell you if the have that family feel or not, but as far as a running program they suck. Look at their results over the past five years. That will tell you a lot. Look at how they stack up in conference. They are usually at the bottom of the barrel and the big sky conference is no powerhouse, especially on the women's side. If you're good, consider a better program, if you're an average high school runner, you will fit right in.
