Why can't I find a single interview of many athletes or coaches post-Olympics? Is it really that difficult for media in the running world to get an interview these days?

I'm actually curious myself. People are citing quotes from Rupp or Salazar. For example Salazar saying Rupp is going to focus all next year on the track. But I can't find any source of where they are coming from. I'm going to think they are made up unless somebody gives me a source.
UKA then shut him up and he was oddly quiet for remainder of the Olympics. Probably hear a bit more when the mean journalists have gone away and he is back in the safety of the UK where they aren't allowed to ask him the tough questions.
