I live in a new build eco apartment. My bedroom is a box room about 1 metre by 2 metre (about the size of a double bed, a bit bigger, with a walkway one side). I've been getting bad headaches and feeling really unwell when I wake up with a bright red face and waking up gasping with my heart pounding in the night since I moved into this room.
I did some investigating and it looks like it could be carbon dioxide? I sleep with the door shut and the window shut (which is an ultra efficient airtight one as well) but I had no idea this could be an issue. It gets really stuffy but because of the amount of noise outside I can't sleep any other way and end up waking constantly through the night if I leave the window open.
Am I just being ridiculous or could this be a real concern? There's a slight gap under the door, maybe about 0.8cm or something above the carpet. I looked online but the test kits are about £200.
Thoughts? :(
