I have a lot of respect for police, but like any profession, they have their bad eggs. When someone makes an egregious mistake, like this, they should no longer be a police officer.

A few bad apples?? More like only a few decent ones.
I am an attorney. I had no inspiration to be a lawyer until I was beaten by a cop and then charged with their go-to line of resisting arrest. I had nothing but respect for law enforcement. That incident totally changed my perception about them. I decided to go to law school for one reason and one reason only . . . to fight police brutality.
I passed the Bar and immediately took nothing but cases involving police brutality and misconduct. There is a lot more of it than any of you realize. So much, that I have made a very good living off of defending those abused by the police. I have grown to seriously dislike police officers. I don't trust any of them. I have seen way too much abuse, lies and cover up. In my opinion, it's the norm and not the exception.
And spare me the "don't call the police when you need one" mantra. I have never needed a police officer and never will. I don't condone violence on police officers except for legal self defense, but I smile inwardly every time I hear of one getting taken down.
Yes we know you get your jollies from trolling but there are adults talking here.

1. He's not.
2. How would you know the story of his life?
Lots of LEO's and military vets are coming out an condemning this shooting. From what we know now, it seems like a case of trigger-finger, and probably an inappropriate response to begin with. Very bad and dumb.
Police need far, far more firearms training after they get through the academy to prevent these situations.

That and routine mental health check ups and drug testing.
There is also needed an overhaul of the internal review process for police misconduct.

http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/crime/article90905442.htmlOf course....No one would disagree with that....But the constant attacks by our media and by Blacks is undermining public safety..
I've seen you post on this site multiple times defending bad cops and attacking an entire race. Have you matured?

Hard to see calls for less shooting of black men is "undermining public safety"...particularly if you are a black man
That's racist.

You respect people that shoot unarmed civilians? Wow. Just. Wow.

Well I guess a bad egg is no problem for you. I can't even...

And now you want our boys in blue to lose their jobs? What about their families, huh? I suppose you'd want them to suffer? smh...

Close to 80% of cases of cops being shot involve white shooters. You seem to only notice these most recent cases.

... and most of the victims of cop shootings are white. People seem to not notice this either. Isn't there data that shows that, in cases of cop shootings, there is no black man bias. Of course that same data shows that there absolutely is bias against blacks in less forceful encounters. Should be fixed.
All people will benefit if Black Lives Matter make police more accountable. I don't get why people don't see this.
Pigs are the excriment of society. Truly the bottom feeding bitches of humanity.

You should've gone to therapy rather than law school. You have some serious issues.
Why is there no footage of firing the gun?
Why aren't the media mentioning that the cop was black?

Are you trying to make some sort of point? Out with it.
This man should not be a police officer anymore. Surely we can all agree on that.
