Closed in low 28s for the last 200m.
Made it look SUPER easy.
My bet is she will break the WR this year if she gets good pacing thru 600m

He really did jog, while holding his breath. He's too scared to bust a nut and lay down a WR.
she can run 1:52......but that would cause an major uproar/sh_t storm......

Derogatory remarks aren't helpful. Semenya isn't the problem. The problem is people who think that intersex/transgendered people should be allowed to compete against women.
That was ballsy. Semenya's probably cocksure about getting the gold medal.

I wasn't trying to be derogatory or helpful. But your point is well taken.

She could have and chose not to with about a 31 second split from 400 to 600. Doesn't want to try apparently.
I watched this race and I suppose I have seen Castor race in quite a while. I was immediately stunned by the remarkable male characteristics she displays. Even Maria Mutola wasn't that masculine looking. How she passed muster on testosterone levels surprises me.
*have NOT seen

A novel idea for getting that pacing would be to compete in the right race. ie against the other men.
He doesn't. No more endogenous testosterone monitoring for women. That is what has everyone upset. If you hear Semenya talk in an interview, it seals the deal on effective gender.

It's not her fault, she is just a genetic freak of nature, just as Bolt is. I think it should be left at that. I don't care if she goes sub 1.50 to be honest. What do world records mean these days anyway, look at Paula's 2.15, or Flo Jo's 100 m record, ridiculous. What I want to see is good competition between clean athletes, that's all.

Semenya's gender is female. It is Semenya's sex that is the debate. Biological sex and gender are not synonyms.

But there are folks who want to win $ who have no chance. If we want to remove sex from competition, that is one argument. But we have guys and gals compete in different time slots so each has a chance to win. The gals who line up against intersex athletes do not have a chance to win. Unles they take steroids to get to the same level. Then they're not clean.

I'm glad to see this. Thank you. The uninformed opinions and debate about Semenya are pathetic.

Complementary remarks are not helpful either, and give the impression that the ongoing situation is okay. Thus such people should be referred to as he or him, as they should be running in the open division.
Calling them she or her is misleading and lends credibility where it is not acceptable.
I predicted that he'd run a 1:47.
In your post-modern, post-rational SJW world, I'm sure that is the case. If I call the earth the sky and the sky the earth, I am right from my gender-fluid, subjective-righteous perspective and you are not allowed to question it.

I believe the 2nd and 3rd place athletes in the Monaco 800 are also intersex.
The ladies 800m medal podium in Rio is going to be bursting with testosterone
