I took two months off from running and put on some weight. I have been shedding it nicely but I really want to drink a good beer. Would that set me back

2 days at most per beer.
Don't do it. You'll soon be a heroine addict.

No. He's right. I had a beer once and now I can't stop thinking about Katniss.

I would suggest -- in all seriousness -- that if you "really want" to drink a beer, even though you are concerned about the calories involved and the effect it might have on your weight loss goal, so concerned, in fact, that you feel it necessary to ask total strangers whether it would okay for you to have said beer, that you already have a drinking problem.
Seriously. You may wish to consider where you stand right now with respect to alcohol consumption.
If it's a Pliny, Enjoy By or Heady Topper ... cheers. Otherwise just say no.
Ugh IPAs are gross. Just drink a few American Style light lagers and you'll be fine. All this fancy beer crap is a waste of time and money. Bush light will get you wherever you want to be for a reasonable price with minimal calories.
Why stop at 2? Everybody know calories are just a societal construct engineered by millennials in order to repress good-working people of the good old days by using the amount of their weight against them!
For 2 beers to have no effect you either have to cut calories elsewhere or run 3.5 extra miles

its that way with girls too. Can't go wrong with a light bush! Brazilians are sooo 2010, and you might catch zika too, no thanks, my "little head" is small anough already!
you fooling noone with that gut, chief
i dont understand people asking these questions. You know how much calories are in beer, right? do the math.
Youre just a borderline alcoholic, probably.
The difference between a beer and a glass of juice is negligible.
Personally, I would be a fat person like my brothers if I didn't balance my consumption with activity. I also found whatever I do needs to be sustainable. If I want a beer, I'll have a beer or two, but I make up for it by always being active and eating healthy - so that I can enjoy some items like beer and dessert on an occasional basis. Have your beers.
