Why?
No matter the place making the finals of the US OLYMPIC is an incredible result don't you think?
I predict 3:35 in a red hot Swarthmore prelim but then he doesn't make the finals.
that's a fine workout, though you often see people running eye-popping workouts and then not running as fast in races, maybe because they overstrained themselves in the workouts. 2:50 with a 54.8 close, with a 400 and 600 later suggests to me that he is in 3:33-34 shape already.

Wow. I guess we need to seriously consider that Asbel Kiprop might be better than Kyle Merber. Maybe even a LOT better. You heard it here first.
kiprop will definitely win the USOT
If you can't wait for this you have apretty pathetic life.
Really pulling for Merber. His progression since coming back from injury has been insane. Seems like a good dude too. Hopefully his lack of recent volume doesn't leave him too tired for the finals.

I agree. All that rest and recovery can be tiring.

LEGIT. Watch out.
Really, get your countries right
Amazing to me the effort people put into practice then comes a race and they do it as a "workout" or "train through it."
Looks like a lot of people are working hard to jog a few laps and then lose a sprint. Perhaps the need to run 65, 65, shoot for sub 50. Might be a better race specific workout.
