Has anyone seen a statement from the Dibaba family, or from Genezebe's agent? I am curious to see how and if they try to spin this.

They're in cahoots. Is there another federation that is so subservient to a single individual as UK Athletics is to Farah? Embarrassing.
Quite understandable since without Mo Farah is the poster boy for Britain in Track and Field as Paula Ratcliff was. If he were to fall, Britain will likely lose all the gold and silver medals he has won since 2011.

No Joke. I was just thinking that since people no longer need to be following him around (I am pretty sure), should LetsRun get some people on the ground in Spain for updates?
Well I hope some LRC sleuth has been going through Rob Young's trash. Who knows what might be revealed?

Salazar has ALOT of heat on him right now. His people are off the sauce. Farah wanted to continue with it, as he's "only" a top 10 works guy at best without it. Salazar and Nike tells him he's on his own. Hence, the exodus to flagstaff, font Romeu, Ethiopia...anywhere but where Salazar is this last year and a half. Mo is probably in a panic today.
Fun day of training with the Aden boys. Grafting! YEZZZZZZZZ... !!

I think this could be as close to the current truth as anything out there.

This is why doping - as in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Kenya - should be a criminal offense, but IAAF and WADA continue to fight it. No, they don't fight the doping, but that doping should be treated as a crime.
Exactly. It's a type of fraud.
the best defense is an offense...

There is absolutely no evidence UK Athletics is in cahoots or covering for Farah or anyone else. The might well be, or Farah is doping and UK Athletics don't know about it.
Who do you think have been tested more out of competition. UK or Kenyan middle and distance runners?
Answer - UK athletes.
Which country has had the most athletes test positive?
Answer - Kenya.
Which of the 2 countries have athletes on film/ camera, openly accusing their countrymen of doping?
Answer - Kenya.
So, if you are going to make sweeping accusations and generalisations based on rumour and a few photos of Farah training with Aden, without a shred of evidence, then please acknowledge that you need to get your own house in order first.
Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

I think it's also cultural. Mo is from Somaliland, Aden is Somalian. But yeah their friendship doesn't help Mo's image.

maybe someone sent in a tip and they contacted the authorities.
Hamza Driouch story seems like it might be true now, I wonder who silenced him and told him to say he made it up.
I doubt the website had anything to do with this one as multiple news reports say this has been under investigation for over a year.
The first tip LRC received on Aden possibly being linked to EPO was on 10/25/13. Our source wished to remain anonymous.
It is great to see a raid conducted with this as often nothing happens from whistleblowers.
Nonsense. Lord Coe has vouched for Mo. Remember that the IAAF has seen all his tests. He is proven to be clean!
Watch Jama roll on Athletics Kenya. El Keniano will come here crying about how this conspiracy is real but that one is not and everyone's clean and he's a liar except when they get outed in the next year and the story gets changed but this time it's true and America is to blame and there weren't 18 positives in Kenya in two years and so on and so forth.

Thanks. I noticed it too after I read some of the articles. Good to see athletes doing something about it even if it takes time. There is hope in the world.

Proof please. UKAD releases no test statistics. The only report they generate is a budgetary report. If you have a link to UKA test report, that would be great.
Finally, there's the inconvenient fact that multiple dopers have used the "most tested athlete" story with great effect, until they were discovered to have a long-running doping program.
Funny, you seem to knw nothing about where and who Aden studied under--Yes, John Cook same guy people have been leaving for years. I wonder what he taught Aden? He spits at Salazar but here he had a close relationship with Aden.
So now then; are you and everyone else going to start with disparaging remarks on John Cook/Jama Aden the same way people do here of Salazar/Farah and Rupp-and here yet Aden arrest supplies us with more proof*
The man being arrested for possibly being involved with doping.
Torrence shits on Salazar, yet he was involved and is involved with one of these two people*
So now then, can we say just because he was coached by, the and is by one that he too is dirty or was....He, Torrence shouldn't throw stone in a glass house.
As well as most people on here.

Extremely hilarious how Letsrun manages to find a way to channel it's hate for Mo Farah once again.
Farah, not involved at all in the story, is somehow being implicated for being within 100 miles from Aden at his time of arrest (despite being in a different country) and for having once apparently trained with Aden on (an) occasion.
Let me ask you this Letsrun, if Farah was indeed meeting Aden solely to use him as some kind of doping doctor, why on Earth would he hang out with Aden and his crew in public? Why wouldn't he just visit him in secret?
Another observation of this situation, where are the accusations of the athletes that have ACTUALLY worked with Aden in the past? Like Makhloufi? Or even his current athletes like Haroun?
This is a big story in it's own right, and attempts to pull Farah into it are weak at the moment. Why don't we add in that Aden and Rupp were probably both at World's last year, maybe they met up in Aden's room for some EPO shots!
Nonsense.

Nonsense.
0/10
BTW, they use kms in Europe, not miles. The Aden team was their for altitude training and that means they must go the the Pyrenees, the closest mountains. And, the main road from Hotel Aden to those mountains is the road that leads to Hotel Farah, and nearby is the only good running track at altitude.

Game set match
Let's review some easy ways out for the athletes considered important by the IAAF. (ex. Mo)
Change results in test database. (confirmed as already happened by Seppelt)
Only perform urinalysis. (ridiculously easy to defeat)
Only perform tests for drugs an endurance athlete would never use.
Send samples to Martial Saugy's lab to never test positive.
Send positive samples tested in Spanish lab to Martial Saugy where errors are discovered in the test protocols. (FIFA, IAAF positives invalidated)
Ignore bio-passport anomalies. (confirmed by Seppelt's work)
B-sample suddenly failing test.
There are more than that. But, that should get you started.
In all those examples, note that it's not the science that is the problem. It's corrupt humans.
Great list, keep up the good work.
It is all so depressing, and hopeful at the same time.
I guess Coe has to do something to justify his claim that he is the guy to recover the "failed organization," and justify his existence and ablity to continue his dream of leading the IAAF.
His early comments/quasi-suggestion of wiping the record books clean and harshening the rules etc., was a suggestion he should have taken.
All this individual scandals news cycles possibly hurt the sport more than a big axe coming down all at once...
I don't have a horse in this game, as I've always stated -- lifetime bans for first time positives, triple samples, no excuses. I don't care who's caught, if say Alberto was caught, so be it, way-y out of my hands.
I've talked to him and his friends, and I personally believe his program clean.
And last I checked, in the USA, we still have the right to our own opinion.
That said, I absolutely want all freaking cheaters busted, punished, and brought to shame. Wipe the record books clean!
Revolution!
