Didn't you JUST get through arguing in another thread that humans aren't animals?
You seem confused.

Exactly. That's what I was looking to see if anyone had said yet. Of all time, it would have to be the T-Rex, hands down.
WTF are you on?
Both Giganotosaurus and Spinosaurus were larger land predators than T-Rex.
Unless, of course you are talking about the Legendary Triceratops Rex! Most awesomest dude of all time (and most likely GOAT as well).
Dinosaurs are not entered in the tournament! They already had their tournament. There was even a documentary made about the fight! I believe it was called "Jurassic Park"
The gorilla would get in behind the elephant and use his nut sack like Sugar Ray Leonard used a speed bag. "No Mas"!
Bigfoot. Strength between a gorilla and griz with intelligence of man. Too elusive for any other animal to catch or even see.

Foskco wrote:Bears are the ultimate animals.
They can run 30mph, excellent climbers, excellent swimmers, lots of brute strength, can eat pretty much anything, and sleep for 3 months straight in the winter.
The most dominant of the bear family is the brown or grizzly bear .. and no, they're not excellent climbers. In fact, adult grizzlies don't climb at all.
And they'll often sleep far more than 3 months straight. Try 5-6 months.
I think the Panda is more dominant. People work for them.
A Hilladabeast?
How come no one has mentioned the tiger?? I think that has to take a top finish. Maybe behind the rhino, elephant, and some other OP African species.
Also, a silverback gorilla would not stand A CHANCE against a rhino or tiger! It would probably lose to a giraffe to be honest.

Bad Wigins wrote:The cicada would win at least 1 round unless it got an unlucky draw. It would burrow underground and stay there undetected until its opponent died. Only the rare animal that lives 17 years or longer would beat it.
Since when did animals that live longer than 17 years become rare?
Only a tiny percent of the total number of species live that long. So in a random draw of opponents you're almost certain to get one that doesn't. Millions of arthropod species alone would stand no chance.
Someone else mentioned tardigrades, which would do pretty good too. They can outlive anything. 1-0, DNS second round when nobody can find it.
A big bull elephant with a killer whale in the saddle, carrying a Bengal tiger cradled on it's tusks, just stomping and crushing and clawing and devouring everything in it's path!
Ok, not the GOAT, but the Honey Badger is a decent pound-for-pound mofo.
