SRRs shaky chances in the OTs are probably done.

Richards-Ross pulls up, goes down.
She was going for it; not a "I don't want to race today" flop.
Solomon wins 11.28
She had the lead early, was being passed when she went down. Trammel making it sound like she has plenty of time before the Trials…..Not!

SRR in the 100? Can't see that going well for her.
No kidding.
Solomon coming back later in the 200m.
Nice little detail that they had a medal around her neck during that interview.

Lots of the ESPN graphics have been wrong. They listed Kevin Clark as the record holder (but accurately announced Kevin Young), in addition to originally showing Ekpone as the 100m winner, and the lap miscount during the steeple.

Is It bad that I feel nostalgic for the NBC coverage. ESPN needs to get it together.
48.88 by Jeshua Anderson.
Taylor was with it, of sorts, through 200m, then faded bad. 54.52 after shutting it down.
Apparently Angelo Taylor is going to make a couple of adjustments in his training, race approach and perhaps a few other things and get it together in a few weeks to improve 6 seconds in the 400mH.
Lolo Jones, Angelo Taylor and SRR...I feel like this would have been a good meet in 2004.

The commentators are prepared with a lot to talk about, but have talked about everything but the racing.
400m hurdles are easy to hype: everyone is together through 200m, and you can easily be dramatic about the separation over the final bend.

Hazel Clark good in the booth, better than Tremmell.
Rabbit in 56.5, field in 57.

Asafa Powell in the 100m?!?!?
Goule leading over 600m, Williams making it tight over the final stretch. 1:59.38. Williams lasts 750m, and is just nipped from behind at the finish to end up in 3rd.
Great race.
Olympic Games standard is 9:45.

This is actually turning out to be a respectable meet.
I understand the distance guys don't want to chase times in Atlanta but too bad they couldn't at least put together a men's 800m. As the women showed, hot weather is fine for two laps.

What has happened to Fawn Dorr? There's a big gap between her twitter talk and her recent 400/400h times.

Yes. And Michael Frater. And Nickel Ashmeade. And Beejay Lee, Andre De Grasse's college teammate at USC last year, who missed making the US WC team in the 200 last year by 0.01 (no kidding). All they're missing is Kim Collins.
