Also, who is 'Whiteman'? If you mean Jake Wightman then he isn't going to Rio at all as it stands! 1:47.1 in the 800m, needs 1:46.0 and 3:40 in the 1500m, needs 3:36.2. And then he needs to place top 2 at trials.

Andy Vernon is my boyyyy
Grice shows promise, but 3:52 is still nearly 50m behind the best, and I seem to remember the likes of Masback typically ran about that and he was pretty much in the Euro races to fill out the field.
Said fourth fastest not fourth best.
It's a toss up between Grice and O'Hare as to who's currently best, but Lancashire, O'Hare, Murray have faster PBs.
Lee Emanuel won an NCAA title and has a European Champs silver which is more than Grice "championship wise".
Jake Wightman has seven wins from seven this year and set an 800m PB on Saturday.
Who is "Whiteman"? Are you serious? 3:32 man. Won't be making the Olympics at 44 years old, but ran 3:43 and 1:48 last year at 43. Still competing, supervet.
Antony Whiteman is a beast but his PB is meaningless. He isn't currently one of the fastest active 1500m runners in the UK?! Like you said he is 44 years old he won't be running anything in Rio. I'm amazed you even mentioned him.
Tom Lancashire and Ross Murray are almost in the same boat, haven't run anywhere near there PB's for too long. They are not really a threat to Grice for a Rio spot.
Wightman has been winning low key races. Grice is another level you know it. Wightman has a better shot at the 800m I feel in future anyway.
PBs are actually quite useless in this case to say who is 'fastest'. Grice could have run 3:32 in a Monaco type race last year. He ran 3:36.2 after a ~2:00 first 800m at the WC. Steve Cram has a pretty decent PB. Grice just ran a 3:52 mile (3:35 equiv.) blowing away the field. He can run much faster hanging on in a time trial.
9th at Worlds is better than Euro silver in my opinion. How many Europeans beat Grice in Beijing? None. Grice has three national titles in the last two years also.
Grice is the 'fastest' because he would most likely win if he raced all of the aforementioned names. He should be put in the 'A' races because he was one of the 9 best 1500m men in the world. Certainly has wayy more pedigree than Drew Hunter (what a joke).
This is honestly the biggest load of shit ive ever read. Baddley hasn't run 3:35 for about 4 years. Whiteman is 44 years old runs 3:44 now. Lancashire ran 3:34 in like 2010 runs about 3:40 now. Murray same sort of thing his pb is old but he might run Rio qualifying time but not make the team. 4th fastest lol.
3:50+ is not worth getting overly excited over
Although he is only 22 and of the college age which would get you lot wetting yourself over

What the hell are you on about? Grice is good and running very well, probably UK number one, but if they've run quicker they've run quicker.
Also quicker than Grice: Ovett, Coe, Cram...
O'Hare is 10-4 up against Grice head to head too.
