See Boris... Etc
The department of rundundancy department is calling to inform you that the T in KT stands for tape, as in, Kinesio Tape Tape, unless you are specifically referring to the brand name KT Tape. Since I don't think Nike is using the KT Tape brand of K Tape, it should only be K Tape. I'm sure that wasn't confusing at all.
Maybe not Nike, but maybe USATF or IAAF rules. Or maybe it is just that so many people are using the KT these days.
The funny part is that it is basically an ad for KT tape!
It's actually not KTTape at all... another brand. Will find out. Meant to be "aerodynamic."
Definitely not. Unless half of the sprint fields have the same size tattoos in the same locations. No idea how that is supposed to help. Especially little band aid strips on the forearms.

Diamond League meets are under IAAF logo rules. Tattoos are fine but if they represent a business, they have to be covered up.

Covers needle tracks
That's exactly what i thought. Wow. Everybody is using the KT tape.
There was a theory that arose during the drake relays discussion that they were some sort of motion capture thing for later form analysis.
Also a theory that they were micro dosing PED patches.
I'm genuinely curious if anyone has the correct answer.

The pink tape on Boris's arm was covering a TMobile temporary tattoo. I can't speak to any other covered tattoos...
My current theory is that they are some sort of sensor, to measure something. Everyone had the patches on the same spot so there seems to be some science involved.
Maybe heat, to deal with rio?
It doesn't look like kines tape.
