Most likely but would be awesome to see him get the Olympic standard though just in case. Not likely to hit it in the trials and he has an outside shot at being top 3.

Anything under 28:00 is good.
I'm hoping he has a break through, in the 27:30 range
Saw him doing mile repeats at 3:55, looked easy, expect great things at pre

Doesn't seem likely he'll be rabbiting?? He's run a strong 10k, if he's progressed he might be able to throw down a good time. Rabbiting pre in an Olympic year wouldn't make much sense.
Prediction: 27:4X. You heard it here first.
no, flip flops

Ding ding ding! We have a winner!
Not back yet.
At least chris Derrick jogged it in
German was a rabbit. Chris was not.
German was not a pacer. He simply was a DNF which is far more representative of his career as a pro than anything else.
So he led the first 4 laps at a sub 27:00 pace because he thought he could handle it?
..it was announced just as the race began that he would share in the pacing duties to to 3000m. I'm not sure where he stepped aside...

So is German update? He's healthy enough to pace a world class 10k. How fit is he? Is he scheduled to race anytime soon?

It looks like he's injured again. He only paced the first four laps and then stepped off the track. He doesn't have an Olympic qualifying time yet, so if he was healthy, he would almost certainly have tried to get it there.
He was supposed to go 3k in 8:02 but never made it that far.
