"Long Green Line" documentary is pretty good. McFarland is good too.
Forget the running movies and get "Breaking Away." You'll be inspired.

Please.... The Jericho Mile. Classic.
The Jericho Mile is the ONLY answer to this question, forever.
What's up Likety Split? Where can you find this movie now?

Another vote for Breaking Away, especially for bonding, fun and inspirational purposes.
I agree with the votes for "The Jericho Mile" but high school kids today won't get past the dated TV movie production. I showed it to college kids I coached 15 years ago and they laughed. I watched it as a 12 year old when it first aired and I thought it was the best running movie ever and still do.
You would have better luck sticking with formulaic Hollywood movies like "McFarland USA" or even "Running Brave".
"Breaking Away" is better than any running movie ever made. Everyone forever should see that movie. The final scenes of the race depicts endurance sports competition and its a great movie.

Not sure I'd recommend Racing the Rez for a fun team bonding party, but I'd like to second it as worth your while in most other circumstances. I thought it was excellent.
You sound like fun!Go to any normal person and see how long they can sit through any of these movies without barfing.

I've watched two of these movies with non-running friends and family, and they enjoyed them both times. Maybe the barfing has something to do with your presence and not the movie?
Thank you for validating my opinion.
