Not a coach, never been one. Simply an ex middle distance runner (now arthritis hobbled jogger!) who has an abiding interest in the sport and has always read as widely as possible about various coaches/athletes/training methods.
Igloi is under rated, almost unknown by many runners and coaches in the UK today because he never wrote a book about his methods. In contrast Lydiard has several book out there and travelled widely publicisng his methods.
Personally, I feel that, if you ignore the 50% of his statements that are probably nonsense, the coach that came closest to unlocking the secret of successful running was Cerutty.
