Yeah, probably to remind him early on that even if he felt really good he still needed to take in fluids.
Definitely says drink
Noticed that in another picture.
There is also an arrow perhaps to remind him which side of the road (the right) the drinks tables were on.
Were tables for men and women on opposite sides of the road? I can't remember.
More importantly notice his Livestrong bracelet. Need to keep inspiration from your doping hero Lance to remind you how to win and deny.

Yes, men on the left, women on the right.

He could remember which side his drink was on for just two hours of a marathon? He just completed just over 3 out of 4 years at UofO. He shouldn't have memory issues, should he?
Is that his twin sister he's about to kiss on the mouth?

A Rupp twin sister would be a female Rupp: one of the best white female runners on the planet.
That is what is called a woman, son.
He looked like he was eating something during the last three miles.
Anyone notice what it was?
Orange supremes?
He did it to help him with the water bottle grabs on the table.. Announcer was talking about that he was practicing and had trouble picking them up lol he dropped a couple and Salazar thought it was clever to do that to remind him
Few things to address.
When he was "eating" he was sucking on the cold rags/sponges offered out. Extra hydration and ice cold. When other athletes were complaining about not eveough hydration out there he was one of the only ones taking advantage of this. Fairly clever! He'd drink and wipe the excess on his head and neck.
The more I looked at photos of his hand it almost looks like a number. Drink 4 or 9 or whatever. Maybe it was his table. Find it hard to believe he would forget to drink, but in the state some folks get in during hot marathons maybe one would need a physical reminder.
Also his bracelets are his kids names. One yellow and one green. Not livestrong. It'd be damning to be in his position and still support lance.

Look at the gas gage of your mom's car. It has an arrow pointing to the side that the gas cap is located. When you get old enough to perhaps compete at a marathon you too will find that sometimes mental projections become difficult.

Mom died last year. She didn't drive after she turned 75; vision and mental issues.
FYI. You can fuel cars at real gas stations with the gas cap on either near or away from the pump.
She should have won... wrote:

That could sort of happen. Keara is/was a really good runner (and she looks nothing like Rupp). But, with their combination of genes, I think their twins have a good chance of becoming great runners. Guess we'll start to know if that's true in about 13 years or so...

thats actually a university of oregon bracelet
Show me a U of O bracelet that looks like that. Googled it and couldn't find any. Looks exactly like a Livestrong bracelet. ("Not that there's anything wrong with that.")
Livestrong? Which explains the green one how?
