What has that got to do with running?
Other than Jackie Gleason stumbling around in those "Smokey and the Bandit" flicks.

Not a damn thing.
Just watching Semi-Tough on tv right now.
Wasn't it Nick Nolte that starred in North Dallas 40?
Burt was a RUNNING back in Semi-tough.

Yes.
My vote goes to "The Longest Yard." An absolute classic!!! I'm curious to see the new Adam Sandler/Chris Rock remake of "The Longest Yard" but even though I'm sure it will have a few good laughs (I've seen the trailer) it will take a lot to compare to the original.
Gotta love a movie where the hero makes himself a drink (I forget if it's whiskey or Scotch) and then practically chokes the woman that he's been leeching off of and steals her car (what was it...a Maserati?), gets chased by a bunch of cop cars before crashing it off a pier and then getting in a fight with two cops in a bar...all while Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Mr. Saturday Night Special" is rolling as background music. Damn, I need to watch this movie again!!!
The best Burt Reynolds movie is "Boogie Nights"
I don't have feelings for Burt one way or another, but "Longest Yard" is one of the greatest movies of all time. And I hate football.
Oh, ok then.
