It could a wild day on Friday as a 43-year NCAA streak may end and two 2014 podium teams may be left at home as well as 6 ranked teams.
Here is a list of all projected men's and women's qualifiers.
http://www.letsrun.com/?p=94709
Our women's preview will come out tomorrow.
On Friday, we'll be running Bo Waggoner's program all day long and telling you who is projected to get in and out as the regional results roll in so bookmark this page. Barring a crazy tie, we should be able to tell you who is is within minutes of getting the results for the last regional.
While we wait for Friday, please let us know if you know of any B teams or obscure regular season meets that need to be considered for at-large purposes.
Can you post the code to the program that determines who makes it. I understand the very basics of the Kolas points system, but there is still a lot of unkown territory about the system.
Are any of the races going to be streamed?
Wow, people voted for Denver and Missouri St in the men's regional polls and neither of which even have a men's cross country program.
Great write up. You do realize though that Bethan Knights of Cal is entered. Do you have confirmation she isn't running? because as an undefeated athlete who is arguably the best in the nation, not mentioning her seems a bit odd, no? If Bethan Knights does run it also has implications for team qualifying as that will subtract nearly 200 points from their team total, yielding them a contender for a qualifying spot.

Tough ask for live results at 12:33 pm when the race doesn't start til 1 pm.
No Stites from WM in the results. Injured? Looks like they ran 7 so she didn't DNF. They would have been much higher with her. Anyone know what the deal is? I believe she won regionals last year, and has been competing so far this year fairly well.

This one was an upset as Brown was 5th in the coaches poll and BC not in top 7. The standard ranking has Columbia finishing 4th and pushing Yale in at #3. That won't happen now. I'm assuming the most likely scenario is only 2 teams go from this region now which frees up spots elsewhere.
Southeast men at 2k are slow and packed up--very windy. Louisville and Furman look to be the leaders but everybody is right there
Syracuses chip's aren't working..... None of them on the results
