Just run, baby. Far, far away any girl that would be enchanted by a diamond ring.
I like guys that are loaded and into diamonds. Expensive sports cars aren't bad either. Show me the dough! ?

Just want to share one which is guaranteed and certified, Ivalue Lab, an America’s leading independent purchasers of diamonds and fine estate jewelry.

Just keep in mind the actual value of your ring is a lot less than what you are paying. It's all supply and demand.
Keep in mind the value of ANYTHING is a lot less than what you are paying if you don't take supply and demand into account.
What a moronic statement.
STEP 0 -
do 10 minute sof internet research
STEP 1 -
go to nice jewelry store and find type of diamond ring you like.
STEP 2 -
write down the specs on the diamond you liked (color, cut, clarity etc)
STEP 3 -
walk out of store with NO ring
STEP 4 -
buy loose diamond from a diamond dealer, not jewelry store (this will save you 50%)
STEP 5 - have diamond put on band (this will only cost a few hundred dollars)
instead of spending $5-7k for the ring, you'll pay $2500-3000 for the exact same ring

My wife loves her ring and the diamond is a manufactured diamond.
Not cheap, but if I'm honest, not expensive either at $2800. Equivalent in size to an $8000 real diamond.
That's the direction we went. I wanted something that LOOKED expensive, and it's spectacular. I get compliments on it constantly; it was $4000 but looks more like $25,000, but it's our secret. The stone is called Moisanite. If you want to surprise your fiance, I wouldn't do it though because she might be someone who wants the real thing even though it might be super small and cost twice as much.
Carat Pearl

I wouldn't trust mall jewelers.
There's a guy in San Diego, he only works by internet but
his name is Gary Gilmore (Ocean Beach, California),
the only person I'd trust (about twenty years).
Beautiful work. Or at least he'll give you an honest
opinion on a piece you may be considering.

Good luck
I wouldn't want a diamond ring. What a waste of money. Quite honestly I'd rather give the money to a local charity or go on holiday. I couldn't spend that much money on a piece of jewellery, I'd hate it.

Agree with you. Supply and demand is exactly what determines the price/value of something. The issue people have with the diamond industry is that the supply/demand is artificially set because deBeers hoards diamonds and only releases a limited supply a year to ensure inflated market prices. If they were to release all the diamonds they are sitting on in one full swoop, the price of diamonds would be next to nothing.
I’d go with a jewelry store
Tiffany's on 5th or an ancient, down-to-earth brick and mortar store in NYC with old gentlemen who miraculously still have 20/20 vision and the store is packed wall to wall

this is crazy if this is true
In the wise recommendation of our very own Warren Buffett on jewelry

Have you been upstairs? explain why this is the worst suggestion
Why is this the worst? Gee, I don't know. The fact that they have to pay either rent or tax on their property in a prime location on Fifth Avenue has NOTHING to do with it. Not at all. You know what else has nothing to do with it? The fact that they will have to pay their salesperson a (probably) pretty fat commission.
You do realize this means they have to mark up the ring prices considerably, right?
Do some research then go to NYC Craigslist and search diamond rings/engagement rings by owner there. Guaranteed you can find something ridiculous for a pretty good price. Look at the diamond, not the ring. Buy the diamond, have it taken out and reset. Save a TON of money
Don't

Now this is the absolute worst suggestion. Your suggestion is based entirely on SAVING MONEY. if you go to tiffany's on fifth, you ain't looking for a bargain
Craigslist?? you gotta be joking. there are no risk barriers on craigslist. See "cubic zirconia" above. You're right, you'll find something ridiculous on craigslist no doubt.
What about Amazon?
