Extreme athlete Dane Rauschenberg has never been busted for doping.
He rose to elite status the old fashioned way: dedicated training and ignoring the impossible.

Never heard of her.
Wtf are you talking about, seriously?

Apart from maybe Russia, Moroccans are currently the most blatant doping country in the world.
Do you actually have any statistics to support that?
Wikipedia lists 37 Moroccans banned for doping, and that's not an up-to-date list. No other country has that many banned distance runners.
FACTS:
The Wikipedia article list hundreds of track athletes suspended for ped usage.
You cannot sort the whole list by nation but you can do so by the first letter of the last name of each athlete.
So I did so for the letters A thru D.
There are 3 Morrocans with a last name beginning with A. By contrast, there are 7 Nigerians and 8 Russians:
B: 4 Morrocans. 5 Americans and 7 Russians
C: 3 Morrocans, 10 Americans, and 3 Russians.
D: 1 Morrocans and 7 Americans
I did not tally the totals from the other letters but my impression is that the USA and Russia dominate the number of track athletes that have been suspended for ped usage. The name Morroco does not jump out -- probably not even third on the list.
37 seems about right for the total for Morroco. Out of maybe 600? @ 6%.
OK, but Morocco's population is only 33M
compared to USA at 300+ million
and Russia at 143M

So what?
The fact is the % of athletes who have been busted for peds that are from Morroco is quite small so for Rojo to act as if it is to be expected when a Morrocan is suspended for peds while making no similar comments when others are suspended is dishonest.
How do you wrote:

Here's the thing; rojo is an idiot.
Come on dude, you know better than that.
Morocco is a country of 33 million. 0.5% of the world.
All Morocco's dopers are distance runners. Most dopers on that list are sprinters or field events. If you filtered only distance runners Morocco would dominate the list. And there are 10-20 Moroccan born athletes for other countries on that list too.
1. All Morocco's dopers are distance runners: Simply not true. And not pertinent.
2. Most dopers on that list are sprinters or field events: Can you provide us with a statistical breakdown supporting this assertion?
3. If you filtered only distance runners Morocco would dominate the list: Again, how about some actual numbers.
4. And there are 10-20 Moroccan born athletes for other countries on that list too: Who? Exactly how many?
Let's not forget about dopers from Belgium, we can start with two-time world cross country champion Mohammed Mourhit.
Okay, of the Wikipedia list, 3 of Morocco's 37 busted dopers were not distance. Over 90% were.
Practically self-evident - a majority of top 10 100m dash runners have served some kind of doping sanction. Compare that to the top 10 in any distance event.
About 250 of 1100+ (22%) on that list were distance, mid-d, marathon, steeple. Most dopers in athletics are sprinters or field events, not distance runners.
Of 250 you have 34 Moroccans and what, 45-50 Moroccan born. Close to 20%. No other country comes close. Kenya has 19 and they have substantially more distance runners on the world stage.
I must have named about 10 specific examples. There are probably 10-20. I don't want to figure out exactly how many.
Moroccan distance runners get busted for doping at a significantly higher rate than the rest of the world.
1500m WR?
not just moroccans! wrote:
Some American distance runners dope too. Like Mo Trafeh
I see what you did there.

This is an appalling statistic, and totally unfair to Morocco.
More runners must be banned from the US and UK immediately to catch up.
So is this a shocker or not?
Please advise.

He should have done what Paula did, blame it on altitude training.....or blame it on fatigue from racing.
Paula's explanation will be adopted by all who fail BP charts.
IAAF's current sanction list:
Russia: 43*
India; 34**
Morocco: 16
Kenya: 15***
Turkey: 13****
Brazil: 12
Ukraine: 12
Italy: 10
France: 9
Romania: 8
USA: 7
Belarus: 7
Sweden: 7
Saudi Arabia: 6
* At least 6 more bans have been announced by RUSADA, but are under appeal and not yet listed on IAAF's list, and at least 6 race walkers have been reported to have tested positive
** The Indian anti-doping authoreties have been malfunctioning for a year now, and there is probably a backlog of positives waiting to be announced
*** A case involving a Kenyan winner of major marathons not yet announced, and the two cases from Beijing
**** 4 more bans have been published in Turkish press, but yet not on IAAF's list and Abeylegesse's hearing is scheduled for November
To use the number of sanctions to determine how much doping there is in a country is a so-so idea. Anti-doping testing isn't equally distributed, to say the least. For instance there is still not proper testing in Kenya, neither is there in Ethiopia. The bulk of the Kenyans who's been caught over the years have been caught at competitions abroad. It's not like they didn't dope at home in Kenya, they were not tested there. Dopers used to being tested doesn't use stanozolol or nandrolone and they know how to use EPO safely and how to mask their doping so their bio passport profile doesn't go suspicious. It is very much still the fools who get caught.
Why are you limiting the discussion about ped usage to distance runners only?
Morocco does not have "more dopers" than any other nation.
They've simply been assigned the status of "sacrificial lamb" by the IAAF. Bust a few has-been dirty A-rabs every year and let the WADA shills claim the sport is clean.
The most egregious doping occurs in Kenya, Ethiopia, the US, and Jamaica.

Hard to know for sure....but I do suspect the Jamaican sprinters are using big time
