OK, I guess. I will try it again.
Conte's ability to add any value is if he has any
1. inside knowledge of the operations of NOP or
2. any specific knowledge of doping protocols which are relevant to the situation
He does not appear to know anything about the operations of NOP except which has been reported publicly.
His comments regarding the specifics of the doping protocols are so generic as to not require or evidence any special relevant knowledge.
So, Conte has a larger platform, but is basically saying the same exact thing that 100s of people on Letsrun.com are saying..."the testosterone testing on his own son looks really strange."
I admit that this is my opinion of much of what Conte says. He seems to get a lot of interviews and airtime but never seems to say anything very relevant or insightful. He was not the scientific brain behind Balco (Patrick Arnold) was. He was the business/marketing guy. He was really good at that. He clearly knew quite a bit about their business model and protcols to evade detection. The specifics of that are pretty well-known at this point. I don't think he adds much to current discussions. That doesn't mean what he said was wrong, just that it added little value.
YMMV.
