Update on Ledecky, she just won the 200m at WC, over a very deep field. There is only one other woman in the world who could beat her, but she chose not to race.
This is a WC 200m victory over a tremendously deep field, 1 day after crushing the 1500WR, and doing 2 fast 200m swims to qualify for the final, which was all done the day after having set the previous 1500WR.
BEAST
Also now that I think about it, floor routine, and diving, are 2 things where the best women are among the 100 best men; however, these events are both based in part upon subjective judging and so do not carry as much weight as lane swimming.

Think about it. The track equivalents, by time, of the 1500, 800, 400, and 200, are the 5000, 3000, 1500, and 800. She will win them all at this WC, will have set multiple WR's in the 5000 and maybe 800, a CR in the 1500, ranks among the 100 best men in the world in the 5000, ran a WR 5000 and 2 super-fast 800's on the same day, will also be competing on relays, and owns the WR in the 5000, 3000, and 1500.
Ridiculous!
Imagine Dibaba doing this, she might have the capability to get the placements and maybe even the WR's, but no way could she do it within the grueling schedule of a single swim meet. Also, her 3:50.07 1500WR doesn't even come close to the top 100 men this year, the 100th-best man being at 3:38.26
THINK ABOUT IT.
