assuming we're taking state population into consideration, GA is a solid choice for one of the worst on the boys side, but their girls have moved out of the bottom 10 in the last year or 2.
Lots of pretty terrible coaches in the state though, and their state association is backwards as hell..

These are the states with higher obesity rates and more blacks per capita. Black people don't see distance running as their ticket, and fat people don't run. All that leaves is some average white kids, who must still choose between running and smoking meth.
