What changed? In 2011 she had a contract with Nike. In 2015 she had a contract with Skechers. People on this board are extremely naive if you don't think this story is about corporate power. Kara doesn't speak out while she is with Nike. Nor does she speak out right after she leaves NOP. But then soon after signing with Skechers she does speak out and has a platform to do so with the BBC. Conversely, nobody with the Schumacher group is speaking out. Schumacher saw too it that he had nothing to do with Salazar soon after joining Nike. He clearly didn't like the way Salazar operates. If somebody had something to say on this matter you would think it would be him. Nothing wrong with it. I'm not saying the Goucher's are not legit in their personal concerns of how Salazar acted. Just saying there is an obvious pattern of why and when people are coming forth with allegations. Its corporate sponsorships.

Wall of separation: no way Gouchers were behind any walls of separation. Kara was always gray zone herself (on thyroids meds before Salazar and with an apparent relationship with Dr. Brown that predated her relationship with Salazar. Salazar says she introduced Dr. Brown to NOP. No denying that statement that I know of from Goucher camp).
Now, NOP might very well have been running a doping program, but then somebody like the Gouchers are going to need to fess up, because they're only making themselves look bad with what they've telling us so far.

At this point I figure that people who continue to link to Salazar's dark-fantasy novella fall into three categories:
1. Those who honestly don't know that it fails to show what Salazar asserts that it does, because their bullshit detectors are either broken, poorly calibrated or plain absent;
2. Those who haven't bothered to read it save for a token skim-through, but have heard that it was a kick in the face to the allegations of Magness et al. and trust this idea;

Oh please. Instead of your ridiculous analogy (if one can call it that) and personal attack, why don't address what he said? I might not fully agree with it either, but you don't even address his fairly reasonable point. What is so insane about him saying that Kara waited until she was fully gone from NIKE before she decided to rock the boat? It wouldn't shock me if that had something to do with it. I also think she just became, as time went by, angry about the fall out between Al and Adam, and her own departure, and her recent failures, coupled with jealousy over the success of recent Salazar athletes, leading to her current 180 degree turnaround on how she feels about her former coach. Whatever her reason, the 180 degree turnaround smacks of disingenuousness.
