That is where his credibility took a real hit. I think it's fine, even desired, for people to go to USADA with concerns. It will make the sport better. But, if you go to the press you better have your story nailed down. It's not smart to oversell part of the story or speculate, And you can't claim a character assassination defense when you first accuse someone of cheating and they show one of your stories to be misleading. They pretty much get the right to comee out with statements about you as well.To me, the most important part of the whole story did not come from Magness or the Gouchers. It was the androgel stories from the masseuse and the anonymous runner talking about a microdosing conversation. Those items have been answered and people can choose whether or not they think the response was sufficient. The vials have been explained pretty well.Magness's picture of a chart was old and the notation was not clear at all. I thought it was likely a poor description taken down from a discussion with A kid well before Salazaar even said that. The Cytomel story is confusing to me and does not seem like the biggest deal since her doctor prescribed the same medicine later. Plus the Gouchers got pretty dramatic in terms of talking about Galen"s poor mom and 'child abuse' when discussing a chart they could not have known anything about. And Kara said she thought Galen cheated to get his American record because he ran faster weeks after WCs after saying he was tired. I would not complain too much about character assassination after choosing to go on TV to say those things. Stick to your story and allegations. Fnally, in general, the fact that 12-14 people went to USADA without giving specifics just proves people are not alone,. It is something that fact was touted as very important on this board but it does not prove anything by itself. If 10 people reported the Alex Salazar story, it's just one story reported 10 times. Or it could be 10 people saying they suspected Galen's vials. The substance matters.

Looks like I got a post pulled in which I stated I think Magness mislead Epstein. I also said I thought it was telling the BBC didn't publish the pill-in-book story. What is the conclusion on here why the BBC didn't publish the pill-in-book story? I think the BBC had knowledge the story was just innocent medication sent to avoid customs hold. Magness was very misleading in how he presented this. He told the story like it was illegal drugs going to Galen. Please tell me where I'm wrong here.
