That's true, but that doesn't mean he was doping his athletes. If you already believed he was doping his athletes, then that is more fuel for your fire. But in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't mean much.
There are three definitions of doping.
1. IAAF sanctions an athlete/coach for a doping offense.
2. IAAF does not sanction an athlete/coach because the federation can be bought, or there's a TUE, or it's not a strong case.
3. The methods used are within the rules. (aka "never tested positive")
The rules are created to permit doping. Most of you haven't read them, but, Alberto has and so have I. The WADA rules permit doping, IAAF's rules permit IVs and LOTS of exogenous Testosterone and more. Nike's doping program is very likely completely within the rules and Alberto has executed it very well.
If the final outcome is more viewers understand how the system actually works and how much doping the system permits, vs. the widely misunderstood fantasy, then that would be great.
