background info: going into sophomore year with PRs of 5:00 and 10:58; running ~40 mpw, practice got cancelled so attempted to do a workout on my own on the streets
note: first non-distance run of the summer so not very good speed-wise atm
any constructive criticism would be helpful
2.5 mile warmup @ 8:30 pace
2.5 mile tempo @ 6:30 pace, last 800m was a 3:05
2.5 mile cooldown @ 9:00 pace
i wasn't specifically pacing my warmup and cooldown, just relaying the paces my watch gave. should i have gone slower?
also there was roughly a 15 second break in between each segment
