At first, as I read the article, I assumed that the OP had chosen the title "Luke Puskedra comes to the defense of Alberto Salazar and Galen Rupp," because only an idiot would characterize Puskedra's words as a defense.
Then I saw that it was a Ken Goe article, and he's at least as big an idiot as anyone here.
Puskedra said that he never saw anything awry and wasn't ask to take thyroid meds, and that Rupp worked his ass off.
He said he finds the allegations hard to believe, but this isn't the same as thinking that they are inaccurate. In some sense, I find it hard to believe that Wayne Gretzky scored 212 points in a single season, but this isn't the same as disputing it.
The hilarious part of this, of course, is that the same people who have roundly dismissed anything and everything implicating the NOP on the basis of it not being strong enough evidence of guilt are perfectly happy to treat this unless piece-of-shit column as exonerating. Alberto travels with syringes and Androgel and it's "Well, let's just wait and see." Luke P. says he never personally saw any doping and it's, "See! Toldya he was innocent!" And then the same mush-minded losers claim with a straight face that they're not NOP fanboys.
