Hey guys so I am 15 years old (16 in a week) 5 foot 9 1/2 and 120-125 pounds and I'm just wondering if it would help my running to gain any weight, like to just eat more. Last year I missed XC due to a stress fracture, and had a sub-par track season, only 4:43 mile. I think I wasn't eating enough. I'm gonna be a junior next year, started eating a lot more and hoping to gain weight to get faster. Is this a good idea and how much weight should I gain? Planning on 60 miles a week for the summer base.
